“I really enjoyed listening to Joel Clarkson with his creative voices read this book. He helped me stay ahead of my voracious 8 year old reader who I think is really growing emotionally as he relates to Picket. Very good character building book for boys!”

  1. There’s only one thing missing from this delightful post. At the risk of exposing my Gen X age…

    What…..is a Yoto?

I know who YODA is. I know what a DeSOTO is. But I’m unfamiliar with a YOTO. I could Google it, but where’s the fun in that?

    Is it an acronym?
You Only Trip Once (depending on *where* you trip, that might unfortunately be true)
Yousef’s Old Testament Oration (the most thrilling recitation of Numbers you’ll ever hear!)
You’re Obligated To Oink (at least once a week)
Yvonne’s Oblong Tree Ornament (fortunately, trees lend themselves to the oblong format, what with them being all tall and skinny like)
Yammering Online Trolls Offend (but rarely say anything important)
You! Over There! Out! (okay, okay, sheesh)

Or, the one that applies to me (apparently!): You’re Obviously Too Old

    Enlighten me, please!
