Helmer is a young farmer whose homestead is under threat, the prince and heir is gone, and the kingdom is teetering on the edge of a long fall into darkness.
Evil allies arise, threatening all that is noble and hopeful in Natalia.
Dark times. Deadly foes. A dragon tomb.
And a legend is born.

Game as Gateway to Reading
Kids are reading less and less—especially boys. This game can work as a gateway to embrace a world of reading. We have heard from countless families who say their sons—some of whom are dyslexic—finally became avid readers after giving Green Ember a try. The game is aimed to welcome many more into a lifelong love of reading.

About S. D. Smith
S. D. Smith was born in West Virginia right before the Star Wars franchise released in 1977. Sam’s missionary family moved to South Africa in 1989, and he turned thirteen there the day Nelson Mandela was released from prison. Sam later moved back to West Virginia, where he works full-time from his writer’s shed, the Forge, creating soul-shaping, memory-making, darkness-shaking adventures for families. Sam and his wife of twenty-five years live with their four children in a hundred-year-old farmhouse in the country.
