Green Ember Summer Reading Challenge

A Summer For Getting Lost

The Green Ember Summer Reading Challenge 2026 is cooking like a summer corndog on the grill. In June I invited readers to Get Lost in Green Ember this summer. It’s pretty cool to see families doing just that.

Lots of families like yours have started the summer reading challenge and we’d love for you to join.

“Thank you for all the work you do. I am so thankful for your books – books that encourage what is right and good. Books that display high moral value. Books I know will back up what we are teaching our children at home. Books with strong vocabulary and beautiful writing. Books that not only encourage my boys to read, but also encourage them to write. What you do is more than book writing. It is a ministry. One in which my family is deeply thankful for. Keep going!” -Christie

My 10 year old daughter Anna was thrilled to reread the 4 main Green Ember books to get summer started :). Thank you for the fun tracker and reading inspo!

“Just so you know, it’s been around a year now and my children are still alllllll about Green Ember. Constantly re-reading the books, looking for hidden clues tucked in them, coloring pictures I downloaded over and over again! My three year old walks around saying, “I’m Jo. Mom, I’m Jo. Print me a picture of Jo and Morbin BLACKhawk!!!” 😂” -Hannah

P.S. If there are other Green Ember or Story Warren themed reading trackers you would like to see, please respond in the comments and let us know.

And maybe send this to a friend who enjoys a fun reading challenge!
