Be a Maker Not a Faker

Be a maker not a faker. We are bonkers over fake endeavors. Fake war. (Fortnite, Call of Duty etc.) Fake love. (You know what I’m talking about.) Fake public service/citizenship. (Social media fights.) Fake. Fake. Fake.

No. Be a real human. And really make things. Don’t fake it till you make it. Make it. Then you don’t have to fake it. Make. Make better. Make more. Zach Franzen told me that being is better than seeming. Yes.

Also, be a maker not a faker.

I’m cheering you on! I’m praying for you. Please pray for me.

  1. Dear Sam,

All I can really say is thank you. It’s inspiring to see your messages anytime, especially after a long day. Your story has given a source of hope to so many people all over the world including myself. It’s awesome to see these stories, at one point just little ideas in the back of our heads, become something so powerful to others.
I hope you have an awesome week.
    Bear the flame,
    Ally

  2. I have a question….did Nate, Owen, and Studge survive Ember’s End? I really, really want to know….it’s been bothering me ever since I reread the series (for the fourth time?) a while ago. Could you please tell me if they did or not? Thank you for reading this!

    1. Also, I want you to know that I LOVE your books. They knocked Harry Potter out of first place on my favorites list, and for me, that’s huge. They are the GREATEST books I have ever read, and they give me such a great feeling. The closest I have ever come to crying at a book was when Helmer died (he’s my favorite character).

    2. I appreciate the concern!

But if it’s not in there, then it’s because I want you to imagine your own ending for them, or I have more to share in the future. 🙂

      Thank you!
