In keeping with a tradition of mine, here are six things I’m thankful for (because forty-six is too much for me to manage at this age):
- Allies in the fight. You know who you are. (It’s you.)
- The magical bond between fathers and daughters. I love my girls!
- Fried chicken.
- My dad, papaw, and all veterans.
- My pastor and church.
- People who unintentionally pronounce things wrong with confidence.
