The Big WHY
Book touring around the US (most recently in Texas) has been a hoot. It’s so special to connect with fans and friends, new and old, and young and old. We’ve always had such a warm reception in Texas (double-meaning/insert weather joke here 😅), and this was no different. I loved it!
Green Ember LIVE was LIVELY! We were really blown away by the energy and enthusiasm of the audience! Less an audience and more co-performers. They were singing along with so much joy, both kids and adults. Wow. So sweet.
I also really loved sharing the story with them. SO warm. So receptive, and so tuned into all the jokes and nuances of the short tale. I can’t remember having a better time performing this unpublished Green Ember story.
Maybe we need to take Green Ember LIVE to more places?
I signed a LOT of books, and that meant getting to meet each sweet kid and their wonderful families, and sharing some really special moments together. I am reminded each time of the big WHY of my work…
We’re loving and serving these kids and their families with hospitable, formative stories that delight and inspire and bless.
It’s so sweet to see so much fruit here in Texas. I’m grateful to God.
I also got to see my pal, Carolyn Leiloglou (terrific author of the award-winning Restorationists trilogy). She’s so great. You should get her books!
